Mentoring
During my first and second trimester of my senior year, I was a mentor for Mrs. Marsh's sophomore English class and Mrs. Andcliff's Business Technology class. The English class works to develop basic writing and grammar skills. The students read many books, write essays, and many other projects as well. The Business Technology class is to help students develop computer skills and being able to use programs that will help in the future.
As a mentor, I would answer any questions the students had. I also worked one-on-one with a student for a while to provide him with some extra assistance. I enjoyed mentoring these classes and having the opportunity to help and work with others.
SpeechThis is a video from Speech class my Junior year of high school. The speech was an intro about what I believe most describes me and who I think I am. The speech is about my passion and history with basketball. I enjoyed telling others about my interest in this sport. |

This is another speech I made my junior year of high school in Speech class. It explains the basics of the sport, basketball. This is something I am very passionate about. I should have made it on something more specific with basketball, but there were students in the class that did not know basics. I was happy to educate others about the sport I play. |
